Welcome BGP Stars 2023 Season!

Tomorrow will be our first day of practice. We are looking forward to seeing all of the swimmers! Reminder for week 1 schedule (slightly different from last year):

6&Under 4:15-5:00

7/8 4:45-5:30

9/10, 11/12, 13/14, Open 5:15-6:15

A few reminders for our first week:

1. Registration: Swim team registration is open through this week to May 6. We have included both 2022 and 2023 registrants in case we have a few from last year that have not yet joined. Please do so ASAP! We will close registration on May 6. Next Sunday we will only include 2023 registered team.

2. Practice: Water will be cold but will continue to warm up this week. We put it lane ropes today and the oak tree by the bike racks has been cut down which means the pool is getting full sun and will warm up quickly!

3. Calendar: Please check the website for all of the swim meet dates, picture dates, team parties etc and RSVP for your child.

4. Swim Suits: may be purchased through Texas Swim Shop. The company came to BGP on Wednesday but can still take orders for this years NEW swim suit.

5. Coaches: We have a great list of coaches this year both new and old! They will be wrapping up high school finals, sports, college finals, so we will get them at practice in shifts over the next few weeks but we are very excited about our team this year!

6. Fun Friday: For new families, Fridays in May will be a short practice of drills, sharks and minnows in the deep end with the coaches, and end with Kona Ice. Social for the parents. Fun wrap to the hard work for the week and the kids love it! Hope to see you all there!
